Police in Rockland, Maine, got an alarm call for a local TJ Maxx recently and arrived to find that a deer had crashed through a window and was running amok in the clothing store.
On Thanksgiving at around 1 p.m., the Rockland Police Department received the alarm call, the department explained in a post on Facebook Friday. Officers responded thinking the alarm might have been set off by burglars.
Instead, police found a white-tailed deer inside the store, roaming down the aisles as caught on body camera. Police uploaded the footage on Facebook.
Officers assisted store management with herding the animal outside. The deer was not injured.
