The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a defensive performance that many have seen from them week after week.
The team was good at stopping the run, holding the San Francisco 49ers below four yards per carry, but relinquished over 330 passing yards and three touchdowns from quarterback Brock Purdy in what remains perhaps the league’s worst passing defense. Despite that, though, the team got pressure against a stout 49ers unit, netting four sacks across the day. That didn’t help the team win, though, as it dropped its game against the 49ers 27-14.
