The preseason has been played and the tough decisions have been made — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are down to their first 53-man roster.
The cut deadline for NFL teams is Tuesday, Aug. 29, but the Bucs got down to 53 men before that happened. The team made 37 cuts to get here, and many of those cuts were talented players who could find themselves back on the practice squad. It should also be noted that this is the initial 53-man roster, and that the team could pick up some veteran players or other rookies on the wire in the coming days that could shift a few things around here and there.
