Police in Los Angeles said Sunday a male pedestrian was struck and killed by a blue Chevrolet Corvette during a suspected street race in Hollywood.
Authorities said the unidentified victim was hit near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Sunset Boulevard shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The 2022-23 Corvette was possibly racing a white sedan when the man was fatally struck.
Police said the Corvette fled the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
