Sophie Turner has filed paperwork requesting a judge “reactivate” her and Joe Jonas’ divorce case after attempts to settle child custody and property failed.
Miami court documents submitted by the “Game of Thrones” alum and obtained by Page Six state “that the abatement has come to an end and this case is to be re-activated.”
A rep for Jonas didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Jonas, 34, filed for divorce from Turner, 28, in Miami in September 2023 after four years of marriage, claiming that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
The dissolution quickly became acrimonious, as the “Do Revenge” actress countersued the “Cake by the Ocean” crooner in New York Federal Court claiming he had abducted their girls by withholding their passports.
“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending,” Jonas’ rep said at the time.
“When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst.
Turner and the Jonas Brothers band member eventually came to a temporary child custody agreement in the fall that had their two daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 21 months, being shuttled back and forth between the UK and US for the holiday season.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents,” the former couple said in a joint statement in October.
Turner eventually dropped the the kidnapping accusations in January after the US judge approved the dismissal of the filing once both stars signed a consent plan that had recently been approved by a U.K. judge.
Both Turner and Jonas have moved on romantically, with the former is dating aristocrat Peregrine Pearson and the latter has been romancing model Stormi Bree.
