The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to prove the doubters wrong.
The Bucs moved to 2-0 on the year after defeating the Chicago Bears 27-17 on Sunday. It was a dominant performance, from QB Baker Mayfield throwing for over 300 yards and the defense netting six sacks and two turnovers, including a pick six from outside linebacker Shaq Barrett. Naturally, with Mayfield’s good play the first two weeks and Tampa Bay’s unexpected success led to some discussion on social media from Bucs fans and neutral fans alike — it’s a new era in Tampa Bay, and it’s started off as good as it could have hoped.
Here are some of the best social media reactions to the Bucs’ victory over the Bears:
“The Buccaneers are tanking…”
“Bucs are going to stink without Tom Brady…”
“Second-worst team in the NFL…”
“Lol Baker Mayfield…” pic.twitter.com/GTTQ0h4obh

Jake Camarda, punter/holder for the Bucs, scooping up that blocked field goal should be up for the “most athletic thing a human has done today” award
