Seton Hall squeaks past St. Joseph's in OT to win NIT opener

Al-Amir Dawes scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Seton Hall to a 75-72 overtime win over St. Joseph’s in the first round of the NIT on Wednesday night in East Orange, N.J.

The Pirates will face North Texas, 84-77 winners over LSU, in the second round.

Dylan Addae-Wusu poured in 18 points and Dre Davis added 14 points for Seton Hall (21-12).

Erik Reynolds II led St. Joseph’s (21-13) with 27 points.
