The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have some key players on both sides of the ball set to hit free agency, and they’ll have to be judicious with how they spend their salary cap space if they want to keep the best of the bunch.
They’ve already checked a couple of the biggest ones off the list in recent days, re-signing wide receiver Mike Evans to a new two-year contract extension, and placing the franchise tag on safety Antoine Winfield Jr. while they continue to work on a new long-term deal for him.
