A Staten Island man has been charged with killing his 82-year-old mother, six days after she was found dead at home, police said.
Carl Sutera, 59, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder in mom Rosalie Sutera’s killing on Jan. 17 on Wolcott Avenue in Arden Heights, according to police.
He allegedly strangled her, police sources said.
It wasn’t immediately clear if there were prior domestic calls to the residence or if the son had been criminally charged in the past, a police spokeswoman said.
