Wide receiver Mike Evans came to play on Sunday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout had already made a big play on third down during Tampa Bay’s opening drive, and on their third drive in the second quarter, he delivered a huge gain. Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield hit Evans, who shook off the safety to make the grab and then take the ball 70 yards to the seven-yard-line.
Tampa Bay would eventually punch the ball in with Rachaad White on third down after giving the ball to him the prior two snaps, giving the team the lead 10-7.
