A second state has kicked former President Donald Trump off its presidential ballot on the grounds that he is disqualified as the leader of an “insurrection.”
Maine’s secretary of state announced the decision Thursday evening, but put it on hold pending U.S. Supreme Court review of a similar ban in Colorado.
“I conclude that Mr. Trump’s primary petition is invalid,” wrote Secretary of State Shenna Bellows in her ruling.
