Letter to the editor: Battle between good and evil

Protesters everywhere have been marching and demanding the killing of Jewish people — a people who were nearly exterminated by the Nazis in World War II (“Masked teens yell ‘death to the Jews’ at Florida synagogue congregants: Police,” web, Oct. 30).

Hamas attacked Israel just over a month ago, mutilating and murdering civilians and beheading babies. Israel must to stand against this evil and eradicate the terrorist group for the future of the Jewish nation and the rest of the world

Yet here in this country, our would-be king works both sides and will not help Israel without helping Ukraine. The dictator of Ukraine demands he be given more assistance while he gets richer off the backs of U.S. citizens.

Somewhere in the shadow of darkness, those faces of long ago — Hitler, Stalin, Mao and more — are surely smiling to see the greatest nation on Earth wither away because of despicable individuals. We were given a constitutional republic, but we failed to maintain it — and so we now watch it waste away from neglect and fear of what others might say.

The right to free speech is forgotten as FBI agents burst through a family’s front door because the parents dared speak out against their children being taught pornography in public school. The government fights hard to take away our Second Amendment rights — because if they do we will be wholly dependent on them, which is what they want. They fear that a patriotic American who thinks for himself or herself will not kneel before anyone other than our father in heaven.

Our military is more concerned about using the correct pronoun than about preparing our men and women for battle. They use drag queens to bring in new recruits. We have lost the leadership of years past and now have political hacks wearing the uniform.

This battle is no longer political; it is between good and evil. It’s time to show some mettle and stand tall for tomorrow’s freedom and liberty.
