Kancey and Mauch questionable, Davenport appears

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to be mostly healthy for their Week 1 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, but two players are officially questionable to play.

The Bucs and Vikings released what should be the final injury report before the two teams square off Sunday. For the Bucs, defensive tackle Calijah Kancey is expected to be a game-time decision with a linger calf injury, which is an encouraging step forward from Wednesday’s report. Less encouraging is offensive guard Cody Mauch’s second day in a row not practicing due to back spasms — Todd Bowles hasn’t ruled him out, but his participation isn’t looking likely.

On the Vikings side, outside linebacker Marcus Davenport is questionable for Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. The Bucs are well familiar with Davenport from his time with the New Orleans Saints, and his absence would make the team breathe a bit easier when it comes to pass and run protection.
