Despite missing three games, the Bucs’ 2023 first-round pick was among the most productive and disruptive rookie defenders in the class. Kancey recorded four sacks and 34 total pressures, third-most among rookie defensive tackles and sixth-most among all rookies. He also recorded 10 tackles for a loss, third-most among rookies behind teammate Yaya Diaby.

The show really began in the playoffs where Kancey led all players with 1.5 sacks and 11 total pressures, adding two tackles for a loss and a batted pass. Kancey’s productive regular season and even stronger postseason portends a long, successful career.

Grade: A
