Mayfield played for the Sooners from 2015-17, where he won a Heisman Trophy and ended his tenure in college with 14,607 passing yards, 131 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. His first season of college football was played at Texas Tech.
Meanwhile, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts spent most of his career at Alabama, but his transferred to Oklahoma in his senior year to take over for QB Kyler Murray. In his one season with the Sooners, Hurts finished second in Heisman voting by putting up 3,851 passing yards with 32 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
