Western Michigan edge rusher Marshawn Kneeland is one of the hottest names in the NFL draft cycle right now, and his busy predraft visit schedule is the proof.
Kneeland has either already taken visits or will take one in the coming days with 16 of the league’s 32 teams, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are among those teams who have already visited with Kneeland, according to Garafolo.
The Bucs obviously have a need at outside linebacker, even after signing veteran free agent Randy Gregory to a one-year deal last week. After cutting Shaq Barrett to save salary cap space, Tampa Bay will still be looking for more upside among their edge defenders, and Kneeland would fit the bill as a potential Day 2 target to pair with Yaya Diaby.
