The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have added yet another veteran to their offensive line in free agency, signing former Philadelphia Eagles guard Sua Opeta to a one-year deal.
An undrafted free agent in 2019 out of Weber State, and didn’t see any action in his first NFL season, but would appear in 38 games over the following four seasons. He’s made 10 career starts for the Eagles, six of which came last season.
Opeta joins a Tampa Bay offensive line looking for proven depth, as well as competition for the starting left guard spot. After signing former New York Giants guard Ben Bredeson on Friday, as well, the Bucs have now added multiple candidates to that competition.
