The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have set their uniforms for Sunday’s matchup against the Chicago Bears, and it should be a familiar look for Bucs fans.
The Bucs wore white-on-white for their first preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in 2023, and the team is once again using that color combo in its regular-season debut at Raymond James Stadium. The look should serve as a nice contrast to the Bears, who are wearing an all-orange uniform on Sunday.
The Bucs typically wear white uniforms at home for a good portion of the year due to the heat in Tampa Bay, forcing other opponents to wear darker colors to feel its effects more intensely. The team’s technical “home” red uniforms mostly come out at night games, so a good candidate for that would be the team’s Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles next week.
