The 2023 NFL season is almost underway, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are giving a bit of a look at how their team might come out of the tunnel on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Bucs released their first unofficial depth chart of the year ahead of Week 1 on Tuesday, giving a bit of a look into how the personnel could fall. The depth chart is unofficial, as it stands, so it is subject to change in regard to injuries and other influences as the week draws closer to gameday.
Here’s a look at Tampa Bay’s first unofficial depth chart:
Among things notably confirmed are Robert Hainsey’s start at center and Cade Otton and Ko Kieft starting as the team’s two tight ends. Running back Sean Tucker appears to land the RB2 role in this depth chart, stepping in front of RB Chase Edmonds and RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn to get there. Dee Delaney is technically listed as the team’s third corner, but it’s set to be Christian Izien, who is designated as a safety.
Tampa Bay’s roster is far younger than it was under QB Tom Brady, and it will get its first true test against a talented Vikings squad at 1 p.m. EST on Sept. 9.
