The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off a win at home to jump to 2-0, but their first big test is now approaching.
The Bucs are set to face off against the reigning NFC champions in the Philadelphia Eagles, and early odds don’t have the matchup in their favor. Tampa Bay opened on BetMGM as 6.5-point underdogs on Monday, a relatively tight margin given how bad most bettors thought the team was going to be in the offseason. The Bucs will be at home, too, so that’s likely to be factored in as well.
As it stands, the over/under is set at 44.5 and the money line is favoring the Eagles at -275. The game is set to be one of Tampa Bay’s two prime-time games, so the world will be watching when the Bucs try and prove the bettors wrong.
