The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed linebacker Lavonte David to a one-year deal, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
David’s new deal has a base value of around $9 million, with incentives that could take it up to $10 million, according to Rapoport.
Even at 33 years old, David proved last season that he’s still one of the best linebackers in the entire NFL, putting up impressive numbers in his 12th NFL season.
One of the most underrated players in the entire league throughout his career, David continues to be one of the most consistent defenders in the NFL, and will continue to provide a huge impact both on the field and in the locker room for Tampa Bay.
