Which Bucs are worthy of making the Pro Bowl?

Voting has officially opened for the 2024 NFL Pro Bowl. This begs the question — What Bucs should make the upcoming Pro Bowl roster?

While this season has been underwhelming for a lot of Tampa Bay fans, there are still plenty of talented players on the roster who have been performing at an all-star level this season. Here’s who I think deserves a Pro Bowl nod for their performance this season:

This choice is obvious. Despite being in his 10th NFL season, Evans is absolutely tearing it up for Tampa Bay. The star receiver is just 150 yards shy of 1,000. When he does reach the threshold, he’ll be one year shy of HOF receiver Jerry Rice’s record of 11-straight 1,000-yard seasons.

Not to mention, Evans has been a huge red zone target for Baker Mayfield this season and has been on the receiving end of nine of Mayfield’s 17 touchdown passes.

The Buccaneers’ 25-year-old safety has been playing his heart out and deserves all the recognition for his level of performance this season. Winfield received a Pro Bowl nod in 2021, and this year he definitely deserves a vote.

The Bucs safety has a career-high three forced fumbles, an interception and two sacks through 11 games. He has the sixth-highest amount of tackles among safeties in the NFL, and even then, so much of his impact isn’t shown on paper. He’s a stud.

Wirfs remains one of the best tackles in the entirety of the NFL. You could make a case for him being one of the best offensive linemen in the league.

Wirfs has surrendered just one sack this entire season which came against 49ers first-overall pick Chase Young. He’s been nearly perfect the entirety of the season.

Goedeke has completely turned his career around since switching back to right tackle.

Goedeke is one of the highest-ranked tackles by PFF and has allowed just four sacks this year. I don’t feel confident he’ll be selected, but he’s definitely worthy of being considered.
